Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is an incredible investment in yourself! If you were anything like me, you put off going to therapy for years. I kept telling myself I could handle things on my own, and I was holding out hope that things *might* get better with time. Truth is, it wasn’t getting better, and the cost of my avoidance was high and growing. Getting connected with my first individual therapist really woke me up to all the life I was missing out on being trapped in mindless patterns and beliefs.

There is something sacred about a safe and supportive therapeutic environment in which your whole self can show up and be seen and heard. I use a biopsychosocial-spiritual lens and a ecological perspective, meaning I look at what’s going on within you and within your environment in order to help you reach your goals. Much of my focus in individual therapy is uncovering the strengths, skills and resiliences that are exist within you, but you may not know you have. This often involves doing some deep heart-focused work in addition to some resourcing and skill building.
